Another gorgeous dress i really want this summer...It's a Grecian inspired maxi dress made using Japanese fabric engineered specially to create heavy yet soft drape. The finest yarns are spun to achieve dense tightly woven fabric which still has a dramatic fluidity and soft hand feel that can otherwise not be achieved. The yarns used, create a soft subtle shine to highlight the drape and style of the garment. The Leola Maxi dress is a key AllSaints piece with corseted bodice and hand embellished beading detail. This style has a slight puddle train to the side that can be hitched and buttoned at back. Priced at £450...do we think its worth it... ermmmm no but it's still gorgeous an i would love somebody to buy it for my summer wardrobe!!!

V & A Grace Kelly exhibition opening tomorrow!!!
GRACE KELLY EXHIBITION OPENS
By Emma Sells | Posted: Fri 16 Apr 2010
The V&A's much-anticipated exhibition dedictated to the style of Grace Kelly opens tomorrow.
There's no denying that Grace Kelly was a fashion icon. The actress and Princess (she married Prince Ranier of Monaco) wowed the world throughout the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s with her polished and elegant style. And now you can see some of her most iconic outfits first hand. This would be such an inspiration and so fascinating to see and i would love to go!!
Tomorrow the VIctoria and Albert museum opens an exhibition dedicated to Kelly's wardrobe, entitled Grace Kelly: Style Icon. You can see dresses that she wore in 'High Society' and Rear Window', the gown that she was wearing when she won her Oscar and pieces that were designed for the events around her wedding, not to mention an impressive selection of creations by Balenciaga, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent etc.....

Is this the end of Faith shoes??
IS THIS THE END OF FAITH?
Faith has announced today that it has gone into administration.
The troubled shoe brand has been searching for a buyer for the last few weeks but now it looks as though it may be the latest high street victim of the credit crunch. But hope is not all lost - if a new investor comes forward soon then the brand could still be saved.
In the meantime the online shop isn't taking any more orders but the stores are still open and are offering 10% off everything for the foreseeable future. This was a huge shock as i always thought the brand was very successful...it would seem not!!

Clogs making a comeback hummm!!!
It is said this season If there's one investment to make on the footwear front for summer, it's clogs. I'm not entirely sure about this returning trend from the 90's. However they did look fab with the outfits on the Chanel 2010 spring/summer collection i recently posted. Louis Vuitton have in turn produced some that are not as clumpy in a faded denim colour which would look hot this season!! However we can see them emerging through many high street stores just in time for the summer, therefore more affordable... in places like Urban Outfitters, Topshop and Kurt Geiger!!! Maybe this trend is not for me..

The lingerie look!!
As faithful readers of
We are all loving the new underwear as outerwear look this season, so i have displayed an image with a few celebrities showing how it should be done!!! These boudoir-inspired styles are having a major moment right now and it's all about lingerie galore this spring! The trend can be worn so versatile and unique that you can stand out looking fab an not like everyone else.. While people might not approve of these looks, we as fashion conscious people know how gorgeous it can look if worn right and not too provocatively..

Go wide!!!!
After several seasons of skintight pants, designers expanded their offerings for Fall with trousers cut more generously at the hems. “The flared pant looks fresh, and they make legs look like they go on forever,” Derek Lam told us. “That kind of exaggerated proportion looks right, right now.” A trend that looks fab on tall people however is something i could never pull off!!!!

Chanel spring/summer 2010 fall!!!
This amazing video shows coco chanel 2010 spring/summer collection. The collection by Karl Largerfeld. This feminine, country theme set in an old style barn looks fab. The music by Lilly Allen who i do not think should represent Chanel. Personally I think it underestimates one of the most famous fashion designers of all time...

Leona designs!!!
Well this came as quite a shock as the X FACTOR winner Leona Lewis is set to turn designer with a little help from Stella McCartney. It was reported that Lewis has taken advice from the designer before launching her own range of vegan clothing and accessories.
The vegetarian singer doesn't wear fur, suede, leather or any other animal by-products, but has struggled to find fashionable clothing which sits with her beliefs, often turning to McCartney's animal-free designs. She announced almost a year ago that her intention was to create an affordable alternative to McCartney's non-animal clothing.
Leona admitted, "There's so much I want to do," "I've always wanted to have my own fashion line, and that's something I want to focus on next year. I'm on a mission. I'd love to promote a line of non-leather bags and shoes that are affordable."
I am very much looking forward to seeing her designers been produced!!Go on Leona!!!!!!

Let's revisit the classics!!!
For an industry as obsessed with change of fashion and endless new trends every season a new approach was thoughtout, there certainly were plenty of designers thinking about the past this season. Miuccia Prada said she was revising things she did in the nineties. Marc Jacobs, who told us it was refreshing to stop trying so hard to be new, tweaked signatures like tweedy three-quarter-length coats and long skirts. And at Dolce & Gabbana, a video showing Domenico Dolce expertly tailoring a jacket was a moving backdrop to the parade of trademark sexy suits he and Stefano Gabbana sent down the runway. As far as trends go, this return to roots is about as customer-friendly as they come. After all, how else would these pieces become classics if they weren’t beloved in the first place? We love this thought process enabling the designers to re-work items in the past and modernising the vintage fashion they previously created....

Oxfam vintage online
Every girl loves a bit of vintage elegance to their wardrobe. It would seem Oxfam vinatge is on hand to help make the process easier than ever before. The charity is launching the UK's first online vintage charity shop this week, offering you the luxury of browsing for one-off vintage finds from the comfort of your own home.
"The beauty of fashion is that it can be recycled and reused again and again, with a treasured item donated by one person offering endless possibilities for someone else," Sarah Farquhar, Oxfam's head of retail, said. "Our new vintage site is an opportunity for us to share some of the amazing items we have donated to our shops with an even wider audience and to raise more money for our work around the world."
The two fabulous dresses are a sneak preview of some of the garments in which they are selling....
The new section of the Oxfam site will stock the biggest selection of vintage clothing anywhere online, sourced from Oxfam shops and boutiques around the country. This is some fabulous news so hope all you ladies are as excited as me!?

The new Manolo
Manolo Blahnik, the shoe make we all love and every girl wishes to earn a classy pair of Monolo's. The shoes are truly beautiful, but for autumn/winter 2010-11 they're in a different league to the shoes previously designed.
"It's a whole new silhouette, I've never done anything like it before" - he told us as he unveiled the new "axio" heel that subtly curves in towards the foot arch and creates a curve at the front of the ankle that you can't feel but that "just makes the leg look so great, so sexy and so cute," he says. The shoes are inspired by the silent movie vamps who Monolo loves. This new collection is so unique and spectacular.

The sporty look!
This sexy yet sporty look by Emilio Pucci is a hot must have this season. Designers as well as Pucci look to the surf for inspiration with plenty of body-con scuba dresses, swimsuits with criss-crossing body straps and revealing cut aways and panelling.
Get the look with Proenza Schouler’s acid brights, Pucci’s day-glo prints and Thakoon’s scuba dresses.
This trend looks fab with rainbow-bright rubber bangles, neoprene sandals and ergonomic cut outs. The trend is beginning diverse into high street stores such as Topshop however not in the way the designers portray the theme.

Victor and Rolf RTW!!!
This fabulous Victor and Rolf jacket is an extremely unusual creation. However is so unique and fascinating to look at in terms of how to get in an out of the garment. It looks incredibly heavy and it is beyond me how it was ever constructed. In my opinion the design is so eye-catching and appealing and must have been a big hit on the runway of Paris!!!! Fabulous i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
